Information session by local healthcare services and providers
This programme examined role and place of the informal or local healthcare services and their providers besides orthodox healthcare services. Our goal would be to introduce our audience to this new blending of healthcare solutions now available to our community. The formal health-care-giving system seems to be acknowledging that informal health care services to have some substance, merit and some credibility. In the area plan for Amsterdam Southeast, cognisance is given to existence of informal healthcare, hence this programme. We would be exploring how this type complements the formal healthcare services already known to us.
