The Amsterdam municipality is aggressively tackling overweight and obesity among its citizens. As a complement to this initiative, we have started a series of programmes on this subject-matter. In this segment, we will be analysing the long-term social, psychological and economic consequences of the overweight and obesity crisis. In addition, we will be analysing the short- and medium term health impact. Our guests will be Juan Walter (health officer, GGD Amsterdam) and Frank Wijdenbosch (Sttg. Seven Arts), an actor and an activist for a healthy lifestyle.
