Since the onset of migration among the human race, we have been constantly confronted with raising our family in a non-native environment or in a different cultural setting. Our children therefore have no choice but have to learn to adapt to the new circumstances all the time. This radio programme examines the hows, the pros and cons, and the challenges of raising children in our increasingly diversified and multi-cultural society. This discussion is important because of the constant fluidity in today\\\\\\\'s society. Arriving families and households keep getting confronted with a new culture and environment. This programme hope to help these people towards a better integration and assimilation into regular society. As guests on the show will be Serah Olajumoke Balogun James, an education officer from Rotterdam, Drs. Ineke Wildenborg, Opvoedpoli Amsterdam and Pasinsi Richters, a radio personality, artist and parent from Amsterdam.
