Buurtambassadeurs or Neighbourhood ambassadors are a quite an phenomenal development on the landscape of good citizenry by Amsterdammers. Ordinary people of all ages and backgrounds have volunteered themselves to assist in improving and making their neighbourhoods more liveable.
